PremierVPN X — VLESS + REALITY Overview
PremierVPN X is a separate VPN app that uses the VLESS + REALITY protocol instead of WireGuard. It is included free with every PremierVPN subscription.
What Makes PremierVPN X Different?
Standard VPN protocols (WireGuard, OpenVPN) have detectable traffic patterns. Firewalls, deep packet inspection (DPI) systems, and national censorship infrastructure can identify and block them.
PremierVPN X solves this. When you connect through PremierVPN X, your traffic is indistinguishable from regular HTTPS browsing — a network observer sees what looks like a Chrome browser connecting to microsoft.com, not a VPN.
When Should I Use PremierVPN X?
| Situation | Recommended App |
|---|---|
| Everyday browsing, streaming, general privacy | PremierVPN (WireGuard) — fastest speeds |
| Hotel, office, or university blocks VPN traffic | PremierVPN X — bypasses all detection |
| Travelling to China, Iran, Russia, UAE | PremierVPN X — works where WireGuard cannot |
| You don't want your ISP to know you're using a VPN | PremierVPN X — invisible to network observers |
| Gaming, torrenting, full system-wide routing | PremierVPN (WireGuard) — kernel-level driver |
