What is a dedicated IP?
A static IP address assigned only to you. On a normal VPN plan you share an address with other customers; with a dedicated IP, every site sees the same address every time, and nobody else uses it.
How do I get one?
Premium VPN includes one free. On Personal VPN, add one at checkout or later from your dashboard for $4.99/month. Business VPN includes a dedicated server with its own IP.
How long does it take?
Dedicated IPs are set up within 24 hours. We email you when it's ready, and it appears at the top of Locations in the app.
Which protocols work with it?
Dedicated IPs connect with WireGuard® in our apps, with Stealth relay available on iPhone and iPad. You can also download an OpenVPN config from your dashboard for routers and manual set-ups.
