Setting Up PremierNexus on iOS (StormDNS)

PremierNexus is our iPhone and iPad app for connecting with StormDNS, our DNS-tunnel VPN for heavily filtered networks such as those in Iran. This guide covers installing the app, activating a server in the portal and connecting. A Persian version follows the English.

Step 1: Install PremierNexus

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Search for PremierNexus, or open PremierNexus on the App Store.
3. Tap Get to install it.

Using an Iranian Apple ID? The App Store is often unavailable on Iranian Apple IDs. If you can't find or install the app, sign in to the App Store with an Apple ID registered in another country, then try again.

Step 2: Activate a server in the portal

1. Sign in to the portal and go to Anti-Censorship › StormDNS.
2. Choose a server and tap Activate. You can activate more than one server for a fallback.
3. Your connection details appear under the server, with an Open in Premier Nexus button and a Copy URL button.

Your config link is tied to your account. Don't share it: shared links are blocked automatically.

Step 3: Import the server into PremierNexus

If you're viewing the portal on the same iPhone or iPad, tap Open in Premier Nexus. The app opens with your server ready to import.

Otherwise, import it by hand:

1. Tap Copy URL on the StormDNS page. The link starts with stormdns://.
2. Get the link onto your iPhone or iPad, for example with Universal Clipboard or a message to yourself.
3. Open PremierNexus and tap + in the top-right corner.
4. Tap Import Config URL, paste the link and tap Import.

Your server now appears on the Dashboard.

Step 4: Set working DNS resolvers (important in Iran)

Public DNS such as 8.8.8.8 is usually blocked in Iran, so set working resolvers before you connect:

1. Tap the DNS Scanner tab at the bottom.
2. At the top you'll see Verified Iran Resolvers. Tap the arrow to expand the list.
3. Tap Quick Apply Top 3.

Step 5: Connect

1. Go back to the Dashboard tab and tap your server card.
2. The first time, iOS asks to add a VPN configuration. Tap Allow and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
3. Wait for the status indicator to turn green. DNS tunnels can take a little longer to connect than a normal VPN.
4. Open Safari or any app to check you're online.

Only one VPN can be active on iOS at a time, so turn off any other VPN app first.

Troubleshooting

• Connected, but pages won't load: open DNS Scanner, tap Quick Apply Top 3, then disconnect and connect again.
• The connection won't start: activate a different server on the StormDNS page and import it too.
• Browsing is very slow: DNS tunnels are always slower than a normal VPN. To improve speed, open Advanced Options on the Dashboard, tap Tune Preset, try Config 1 (Balanced) or Config 2 (Fast), then reconnect.
• Can't install from the App Store: you probably need an Apple ID registered in a country other than Iran.
• Need something faster: the PremierVPN iOS app on Auto tries WireGuard, AmneziaWG and VLESS (REALITY, xHTTP and CDN). It's much faster when it gets through. See How to set up the PremierVPN iOS app.

PremierNexus اپلیکیشن ما برای آیفون و آیپد است که با StormDNS وصل می‌شود؛ StormDNS وی‌پی‌ان تونل DNS ما برای شبکه‌های به‌شدت فیلترشده مانند ایران است. این راهنما نصب اپلیکیشن، فعال‌سازی سرور در پورتال و اتصال را توضیح می‌دهد.

مرحله ۱: نصب PremierNexus

1. اپ استور را روی آیفون یا آیپد خود باز کنید.
2. عبارت PremierNexus را جست‌وجو کنید، یا PremierNexus در اپ استور را باز کنید.
3. روی Get بزنید تا نصب شود.

از اپل آیدی ایرانی استفاده می‌کنید؟ اپ استور اغلب با اپل آیدی ایرانی در دسترس نیست. اگر نمی‌توانید اپلیکیشن را پیدا یا نصب کنید، با یک اپل آیدی ثبت‌شده در کشوری دیگر وارد اپ استور شوید و دوباره امتحان کنید.

مرحله ۲: فعال‌سازی سرور در پورتال

1. وارد پورتال شوید و به Anti-Censorship › StormDNS بروید.
2. یک سرور انتخاب کنید و روی Activate بزنید. برای داشتن گزینه پشتیبان می‌توانید بیش از یک سرور را فعال کنید.
3. جزئیات اتصال زیر سرور نمایش داده می‌شود، همراه با دکمه Open in Premier Nexus و دکمه Copy URL.

لینک تنظیمات شما مخصوص حساب شماست. آن را با کسی به اشتراک نگذارید؛ لینک‌های اشتراک‌گذاشته‌شده به‌طور خودکار مسدود می‌شوند.

مرحله ۳: وارد کردن سرور در PremierNexus

اگر پورتال را روی همان آیفون یا آیپد باز کرده‌اید، روی Open in Premier Nexus بزنید. اپلیکیشن باز می‌شود و سرور شما آماده وارد کردن است.

در غیر این صورت، آن را دستی وارد کنید:

1. در صفحه StormDNS روی Copy URL بزنید. این لینک با stormdns:// شروع می‌شود.
2. لینک را به آیفون یا آیپد خود منتقل کنید، مثلاً با Universal Clipboard یا با فرستادن پیام به خودتان.
3. اپلیکیشن PremierNexus را باز کنید و روی دکمه + در گوشه بالا سمت راست بزنید.
4. روی Import Config URL بزنید، لینک را پیست کنید و روی Import بزنید.

سرور شما اکنون در Dashboard نمایش داده می‌شود.

مرحله ۴: تنظیم ریزالورهای DNS کارآمد (در ایران مهم است)

DNS عمومی مانند 8.8.8.8 معمولاً در ایران مسدود است، بنابراین قبل از اتصال ریزالورهای کارآمد را تنظیم کنید:

1. روی تب DNS Scanner در نوار پایین بزنید.
2. در بالا بخش Verified Iran Resolvers را می‌بینید. روی فلش بزنید تا لیست باز شود.
3. روی Quick Apply Top 3 بزنید.

مرحله ۵: اتصال

1. به تب Dashboard برگردید و روی کارت سرور خود بزنید.
2. بار اول، iOS برای افزودن تنظیمات VPN اجازه می‌خواهد. روی Allow بزنید و با Face ID، Touch ID یا رمز دستگاه تأیید کنید.
3. صبر کنید تا نشانگر وضعیت سبز شود. اتصال تونل DNS ممکن است کمی بیشتر از یک VPN معمولی طول بکشد.
4. سافاری یا هر اپلیکیشن دیگری را باز کنید تا مطمئن شوید آنلاین هستید.

در iOS فقط یک VPN می‌تواند هم‌زمان فعال باشد، پس ابتدا هر اپلیکیشن VPN دیگری را خاموش کنید.

عیب‌یابی

• متصل هستید ولی صفحات باز نمی‌شوند: به DNS Scanner بروید، روی Quick Apply Top 3 بزنید، سپس قطع و دوباره وصل کنید.
• اتصال برقرار نمی‌شود: در صفحه StormDNS سرور دیگری را فعال کنید و آن را هم وارد اپلیکیشن کنید.
• مرور بسیار کند است: تونل DNS همیشه از VPN معمولی کندتر است. برای بهبود سرعت، در داشبورد Advanced Options را باز کنید، روی Tune Preset بزنید، Config 1 (Balanced) یا Config 2 (Fast) را امتحان کنید و دوباره وصل شوید.
• نمی‌توانید از اپ استور نصب کنید: احتمالاً به اپل آیدی ثبت‌شده در کشوری غیر از ایران نیاز دارید.
• به گزینه سریع‌تری نیاز دارید: اپلیکیشن PremierVPN برای iOS در حالت Auto پروتکل‌های WireGuard، AmneziaWG و VLESS (REALITY، xHTTP و CDN) را امتحان می‌کند و اگر عبور کند بسیار سریع‌تر است.
