How Refunds Are Handled

Updated 4 Oct 2026 1 min read

Every PremierVPN payment is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. This article explains the policy and how to ask for a refund.

Our refund policy

  • Within 30 days: we give a full refund on any payment made within 30 days of the transaction date.
  • After 30 days: refunds are at our discretion. Tell us what happened and we'll look at it.
  • Cryptocurrency: crypto payments are refunded in the original cryptocurrency, at the exchange rate on the day of the refund.
  • Accounts closed for breaking our Acceptable Use Policy may not be refunded.

The full wording is in section 7 of our Terms and Conditions.

Cancelling a subscription doesn't refund you automatically. It stops future renewals. If you want your money back as well, ask for a refund.

How to request a refund

  1. Sign in to the portal and go to Support › Tickets to open a new ticket.
  2. Choose the Billing category.
  3. Include the invoice number (from Billing › Invoices) and, if you like, the reason. For a crypto refund, include the wallet address to send it to.
  4. Submit the ticket. Our support team answers tickets 24/7.

How you get your money back

  • Card and PayPal refunds go back to the card or PayPal account you paid with. How long they take to appear depends on your bank or PayPal.
  • Crypto refunds are sent in the cryptocurrency you paid with.
  • Once processed, the invoice shows as Refunded on your Invoices page.

Bought in the App Store?

Apple handles refunds for purchases made in our iPhone or iPad app. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. For other app store purchases, open a ticket and we'll point you in the right direction.
