This guide covers the Profile & Signature settings in PrMail: your display name, email signature and automatic clean-up of Trash and Spam. It also lists where to find every other PrMail setting.
Display name
Your display name is the sender name people see on emails you send. When your mailbox is created, it's set to the name on your PremierVPN account.
- Go to PrMail › Settings and find Profile & Signature.
- Edit Display Name (up to 100 characters).
- Click Save Settings.
If you clear the field, emails show the part of your address before the @ instead. Your display name also appears on Secure Message notifications.
Email signature
- In Profile & Signature, type or paste your signature into Email Signature (HTML).
- Click Save Settings.
The signature is added to the bottom of every email you send from webmail, including replies and forwards. It's added when you click Send, so you won't see it while you're writing. It doesn't go on Secure Messages.
The field accepts HTML (up to 5,000 characters), so you can use simple tags for formatting, for example:
<p>Best regards,<br>Sam</p>
Auto-delete Trash and Spam
PrMail can clear old messages out of Trash and Spam for you. Both are switched on for new mailboxes.
- Auto-delete Trash: choose after 7, 14, 30 (default), 60 or 90 days.
- Auto-delete Spam: choose after 3, 7, 14 (default) or 30 days.
Change the timings in Profile & Signature and click Save Settings. Messages deleted this way can't be recovered, so move anything you want to keep out of Trash or Spam.
